Recovery Plus Sports Massage (henceforth RPSM) as if it were our own. This policy will explain why we need your data, how we use it and your rights over it. As part of respecting your rights to control your personal data, this privacy policy explains the information we collect from you, either directly or indirectly, and how we will use it. We will endeavour to ensure that any information you submit to us remains private and is only used for the purposes set out in this policy.

RPSM is the sole-trading name for Josh Jones, who is responsible for the protection of your data.

This website (www.recoveryplussportsmassage.com) only uses visitor tracking analytics and collects no data about yourself without your consent. Facilities for collecting your data are via the online chat where you have the option to remain anonymous.

During a consultation the following data is collected as part of your personal client portfolio.

  • Age.

  • Occupation.

  • Lifestyle/Diet.

  • Sporting profile/training reime.

  • Your expectations of treatment.

  • Your GP name and address.

  • Gender

  • Subjective examination and assessment including general medical history.

None of this data is kept alongside personnel identification records, i.e.: name, address, contact number, or website visitor information.

Who we share your data with.

We do not share any of your personal data with any third party. Website analytics are part of the Wix and Google Analytics platforms, and visitor data may be shared with them (see below).

How long is your data retained?

Our website retains visitor analytics information for 1 year. Client data for active clients for the purposes of arranging treatment sessions and on client wellbeing and progress. This data is retained for 6 months after your last treatment for the purposes of client continuity. After this time this data is automatically deleted.

How is your data kept secure?

All of your information is stored on secure, encrypted cloud services. It can only be accessed by RPSM.

Your Personal Data which we house remains your data. RPSM operates out of the United Kingdom and therefore is subject to processing data under the GDPR, and therefore this informs your personal data rights.
